The Quarry
Golf optional · Around $900/mo houses; $1,400/mo condos
Stone Lake is where the day goes at The Quarry. The lake the old limestone digging left behind is used for powerboating, water skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking and fishing, and the Beach Club sits on its shore with two pools, lighted courts, a gym and the Q-Bar Tiki. The golf course runs around the water, and above the fifth hole an old drag-line crane still stands, left over from the quarry.
Before the quarry, locals knew the land as Piper's Pasture, a place hunters camped. The Quarry is in North Naples, on Quarry Drive, a road that leaves Immokalee Road heading north roughly a mile east of Collier Boulevard. From the entrance it's about 11 miles by road to Vanderbilt Beach and about 10 to Mercato, roughly 20 and 17 minutes with no traffic. NCH North Naples Hospital is about 7.5 miles off, around 13 minutes. Fifth Avenue South is about 18 miles, around 28 minutes, and the terminal at Southwest Florida International Airport about 25 miles, around 33. In season, every one of those drives takes longer.
What is at the Beach Club on Stone Lake?
Every home in The Quarry comes with the Beach Club: its pools, its courts, its gym and its restaurants. The Beach Club is for homeowners in the community. Of those amenities, the club's 2026 membership e-book says: "Residents enjoy the convenience of these amenities as part of their community experience, with no additional social membership required."
The resort pool has food and drink served poolside. Next to it, a three-lane lap pool doubles as the water aerobics pool. Six lighted soft-surface courts are set aside for tennis, and a tennis professional is on hand. Three lighted bocce courts and two lighted pickleball courts sit alongside, so all three games go on after dark. Indoors, the fitness and wellness center offers cardio machines, strength equipment, Peloton bikes, fitness classes and personal trainers.
What is the golf course like?
Eighteen holes, par 72, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry in 2007 and laid out around Stone Lake. Water comes into play on nearly every hole. The course plays from five sets of tees on Sea Dwarf paspalum turf. The club describes the routing this way: "The course wraps around the entire community with no fairways running parallel to each other."
In 2010 and 2011 the course hosted the PGA Champions Tour's ACE Group Classic, and Fred Couples and Bernhard Langer took the two titles.
The golf week has a fixed shape. Tee times are booked up to 14 days ahead through ForeTees. Tuesday is Ladies' Day, with 18-hole and 9-hole groups, and Wednesday is Gentlemen's Day. Through the season the club stages Men's and Ladies' Invitationals, Club Championships, Couples Golf, a Big Ten Shootout and a North vs. South match. Instruction runs under a Director of Instruction, with group clinics and private lessons, and coaching starts with an assessment of your game.
Where do you eat, and what goes on through the year?
Dining happens in two places, tied to two different memberships. The Beach Club runs casual and fine dining for the community, the Q-Bar Tiki among it, and keeps a calendar of lifestyle events and activities.
The golf clubhouse on Weathered Stone Drive serves lunch and dinner in its Grille Room and Dining Room, and dining there is a benefit of golf-club membership. Its 2026 menus are a Grille Room lunch menu and a dinner menu called Piper's On The Green. Private event rooms in the clubhouse take weddings, anniversaries, meetings and birthdays. The golf club also runs charity events, among them the Quarry Kicks Cancer golf tournament and dinner and a Make-A-Wish evening with a live band and food trucks.
What kinds of homes are there, and what do they sell for?
Two kinds. Detached single-family houses come in one-story and two-story plans, from about 1,800 to about 5,300 square feet. Condominium homes are in buildings of no more than three stories and run from about 1,650 to about 2,750 square feet. Across both, homes have 2 to 5 bedrooms, and the oldest date from 2005.
The two sell in separate price bands that barely meet, so decide early which one you're shopping. Between January 2025 and October 2026:
- Houses sold from the $820,000s to around $3.1 million
- Condominium homes sold from the $410,000s to around $850,000
What should you budget for association fees?
Budget around $900 a month for a house and around $1,400 a month for a condominium home. Both are planning numbers, pitched high on purpose, and neither is a typical bill: most homes in The Quarry are charged less, some of them far less.
Does buying a home at The Quarry make you a member of The Quarry Golf Club?
No. A home brings the Beach Club, not golf. Golf is its own membership, and the club's 2026 membership e-book sets out how you get one: "To become a Member of The Quarry Golf Club, Prospective Members must apply, and are subject to the Club's approval process, regardless of Membership type selected."
That's the point most likely to change a decision here. If golf is the reason for the move, the house and the golf membership are two separate steps, and the second is the club's decision. Pin down the membership categories and their terms with the club before you commit to an address.
Whatever happens with golf, Stone Lake and the Beach Club's pools, courts and fitness center are the part of The Quarry that comes with every home.
